Dogs are also allowed on this beach but restrictions apply during peak season.

Further along the coast from  Woolacombe is Croyde beach, a haven for water sport enthusiasts. Surfing, kite-surfing and kayaking are just a few of favourites. The picturesque village of Croyde and its great choice of pubs, restaurants, cafes and surf shops is also worth a visit.

Between the villages of Braunton and Croyde, Saunton Sands offers a golden beach that welcomes dogs all year round. These three miles of sands are backed by Braunton Burrows, a unique formation of sand dunes and again a popular choice for dog walkers, families and surfers.
